Three Years

We hit our 3 year mark on Sunday November, 27th. Let's just say, I am still madly in love with him as I was 3 years ago!! :) I still remember the night we made it official and it still makes me grin from ear to ear! 3 Years down and many more to come!! :) I love you Brady James Parsons.

Oh and on another note: only 6 Months and 2 Weeks left until I become Mrs. Parsons!! I can not express how excited I am! haha.

Life Lately in a Nutshell

Wow behind in blogging once again! lol well a little update on us.(which will probably turn in to a lengthy journal post sorry).. Life is simply amazing, we have had a few ups & downs the last couple months. But that is life & I wouldn't have it any other way. I call them bumps in the road and if you make it over them its a new lesson learned! Anyways, Brady started a new job at a warehouse he wakes up at the crack of dawn and is home an hour before I leave for work. Let's just say it is definitely taking time to get used to opposite schedules but I think we finally have a grasp on how it works. And squeezing every little bit of us time that we can into such a short time frame! I sure do love that guy so any time even if its little is def worth it! :) Work has been kinda slow the last couple months but is slowly starting to pick up. I am currently looking for a morning job so we can be on the same schedule. We will have to see how that goes.
We welcomed some super cute babies into the world in the month of September. We started off with my best friend Shay's little girl Hailee Jade coming into the world a month early on September 10. Let me just say I can't wait to meet this little angle! She is seriously so cute in pictures I just know my heart will melt the second I get to hold her! And than two days later on September 12th we welcomed Journee Alayne to the Parsons family. I seriously can not express how happy I am for Chad & Mary Anne to get their little miracle baby at such a perfect time! She is absolutely perfect and super freaking cute! I feel so lucky to be an Auntie to these two little girls it just makes my heart so happy!! :) On the plus side when I held Journee for the first time I did realize I am super baby hungry..... but soooo not ready just yet!! haha I guess when it happens it happens and I will be more than thrilled but hopefully it will wait just a little longer! :)
We also had our first Wendover trip the weekend of the 24th let's just say I think I am going to have a love/hate relationship with that place! haha Brady's parents were simply amazing and got the family Lynard Skynard tickets... oh how I loved some of my favorite songs live: Simple Man, Sweet Home Alabama, and last but not least Free Bird was AMAZING!!:) Thanks Kevin & Michele for a fun weekend! Can't wait to go out again!
And on the last day of the month my parents signed a contract for a brand new house being built in Stansbury Park, UTAH!!!! EEKKK I seriously am so excited words can't even express how happy I am for this. I am so excited my family is only going to be 40 min at the most away from me instead of 2 hours! :) Behold I am going to miss somethings about the Malad house. but we will wait for that in another post.. closer to moving day(to emotional think about)

Birthday!

Thursday was my birthday! I was suprised at work with Brady walking in with some beautiful flowers. Yes, I did cry. We than headed out to A Bar Named Sue had a few drinks and came home! Thanks Brady, Jess, Carlee, Bud, and Kang for making my 21st awesome! On Friday we headed out camping (post to come soon)

Summer fun!

4th of July.. we celebrated the night hanging out at Sugar house park with Shay, Darryl, Jared (Darryl's brother), & Jessica (Brady's sister). After the fireworks we headed back through the crazy traffic with tons of crazy people. Brady got us "lost" haha not really lost I knew we needed to be over a street but he's the man I thought he was taking us the short way. Long story short we finally made it out of the crazy traffic an hour later!!

We went to Hoogle Zoo for our niece Starlee's birthday. it was fun to catch up with family and have a little bit of r&r! It was a rainy day so my hair went from cute straight to a haggard curly look. haha

Longer Than Forever!!!!

Yes you read that right we are finally engaged!! :D I am super stoked! I haven't been able to quit smiling since the day it happened. When I get home at night I tell Brady how excited I am to spend the rest of our lives together and occasionally(ok maybe every day lol) I will do the girly giggle, a little girl eek/scream and look at my ring and say we are getting married, and he will say quit bragging haha good times!! :D Well you might be wondering how he did it, and I want to write it down so here it goes...
A couple months ago my mom had asked if all that was stopping us was a ring and we had said yes. Well my mom starts telling us that she has a ring that she received when she was pregnant with me from her mother, that she had been planning on passing down to me anyways. She than told Brady that the ring was there if he wanted it. I told Brady & my mom that I didn't want to know when he got it. Well they did really good at keeping it from me Brady got the ring 3 weeks before and kept it in his wallet(very sneaky!!)
The night before the move I was packing up the bedroom and he comes running in and searching his pant pockets and leaves the room, I thought nothing of it and just continued packing. Well the big day was here (finally moving into our own place again) we had a nice little breakfast at our favorite little diner, went and rented a uhaul and got most everything packed out of that awful house. After all the moving we went back to the old place got the dogs and came back home. I was outside letting the dogs go potty while Brady and Bella were inside. Me and the dogs walked in the front door and I told Brady to put the dogs up while I took off my shoes, after repeating myself several times he just kept telling me it could wait. He repeated himself by telling me he really needed help unpacking a heavy box as I walked around the corner he was down on one knee, I started crying and feeling very excited I than saw what ring it was and I started crying more he than asked if I would marry him and of course I said YES!! :D So in one day we start a NEW chapter of longer than forever!! :D
I will update on the new place sometime this week.. I love it and my life I couldn't be any happier!! :D

Next Chapter!! :)

WARNING: Be prepared this entry is a lot of rambling because I am filled with excitement and can't sleep. haha

Today brings the new chapter in our lives, and I am so excited. The excitement is keeping me from falling asleep. And hoping 9:00 will be right around the corner so we can go get the keys to our new home!! A home... I will have a home in less then 12 hours!! :) A kitchen to cook, a house I can do laundry whenever & not have to see if other people are doing laundry, a home where Brady and myself can be us again!!
With us moving into a new place, I want it to feel "homey". When I say homey I want it to feel comfortable like our parents houses do. We haven't had that feeling since we moved to Salt Lake and its time we make the change to make it a home. Here is a list that I want to work at starting today..:)
*Have me time at least once a week* I have been wanting to have a little me time thinking that it will make me not so moody or stressed. I have been thinking of little hobbies I could do and every time learning how to modge podge block letters comes to my mind. I also would love to find a zumba or yoga class in the area.
*Decorate* I want pictures to be hung, a cute saying in the living room, more house plants, etc etc. I could go on forever about this one, because this is what makes a house, a home.
*A Clean Home* I love a clean home and I want to just write this one down so I can remember to keep it clean and not let it pile up and than clean.
*Cook more* home made meals are the best!! I hope to start bountiful baskets so we can have fresh produce in our home at all times! I want to have less processed food in our house and get back to being healthy again.
*Exercise* With being healthy we need to get back into our routine of exercise. We plan on going every other day in the mornings together and on the other days I hope we will start hiking again!! :)

Well I could go on forever, but I should finish packing up the rest of the house! I will post some pictures when I get a chance!! :D

Simons Wedding 04-02-11

WE ARE MOVING!!!

We have had an up and down April between. Surgery went well they did a lot of work so I was very sore. He untwisted my tube, removed some cysts, also he removed lots of endometriosis, and some adhesions from previous surgeries. With all this being done we should conceive within the next few months hopefully. We will see where life leads us! Next we found out we had to be out of this dump we are living in by September! Yes we were being kicked out so that gave me the motivation to say f* all the people we live with and find our own place!! We went and looked at a few places and fell in love with one! We filled out our applications and now it was just waiting time. Brady had a show that same night. It was all ages and there were so many little kids there. I felt like we were at a high school dance! haha good thing for VIP spots.... :) So yesterday I received the call saying we were approved for this place that we love!!! Also yesterday we found out that Brady's band is opening up for Tech N9ne in JUNE!!! ahhh such a good way to start May!!
Our NEW PLACE: I can't even put into words how excited I am for us to be moving! Last year in November we made the biggest mistake ever when we decided to move into a house full of room mates! As soon as I thought things were ok here something else would happen, but that's life for ya! I have had the biggest smile on my face since yesterday! A new house means a new chapter for Brady and myself! Here are some reasons why I am so excited!!
*My own kitchen! We have been eating out for the past couple of months. All because I refused to have to clean my pots & pans (that we did not dirty) before I can cook! Which means more homemade meals again!!
*We will have our own fridge! Not just a tiny shelf to store food!!
*Our dogs will be the only dogs in the house. Hopefully our dogs will be back to not barking so much!! They bark at every little noise they here at this house and I need for it to stop!! haha
*It will be just Brady & myself again! We haven't had that since August of 2010!!
*Swimming pools and a hot tub!
*A Gym!! A nice gym at that! We won't have to get a membership now!! So excited for a healthier US!
*And last but not least BBQ's my favorite!!
So that is our exciting news. For this week!

Best Friends Forever!

I love how Brady and Bella have their BFF relationship. She totally looks up to her Uncle Brady, and he absolutely adores her.

So tonight Bella and myself were at dinner with Carlee and Emma, and while waiting for our food to arrive Bella burst out in a song about how Uncle Brady was her best friend. Cutest thing ever. She sure does love her BFF and we sure do love this little girl. After picking Brady up from band practice we came home and watched Yogi Bear & took a few pictures. That was our evening.

This Past Weekend

On Saturday we celebrated my best friends Shay's final fling before the ring. It was way fun. We started out by going to T.G.I.Fridays which I must add was delicious. We than went back to the house played a game, opened up some presents and then ended up combining with the bachelor party. It was a great way to end the night. I am so glad Brady & I have great friends like Shay and Darryl. We are excited to be apart of their wedding, and wish them nothing but happiness in their new chapter together! :)
Sunday- I worked while Brady recovered from his partying.
Monday- I had a doctors apt. to see why we are not conceiving. Well the results weren't as bad as I was thinking they would be, but still could have been better. I will be going into surgery in a couple of weeks to see if I have indometriosis. (sp?) The doctor also said he wants to just clear everything up in there and make it pretty those were his exact words, (I may have just looked confused when he said that.) But while he is doing the surgery he is also going to be untangling my fallopian tube on the left side. As of what the ultra sound showed it looks like it is twisted around the ovary, which might be why we are having a hard time getting pregnant. So in the doctors words he is going to do his best to save the fallopian tube so we can have the family we want to. Other than that news the day was great! :)
I think I might just get used to this blogging thing. :)

Spring Has Sprung

I am so far behind on this blogging thing. I wish I could get better about writing about our everyday adventures. But here is to hoping I will get better at this! :)
Spring is finally here. I can't wait for all the hiking, camping and trips to the dunes to begin. We just got a loan for a new truck today. I am quite excited for it. This means we will be doing lots more camping and dune trips this spring/summer. I am getting more and more excited for Easter weekend to get here so we can get our first camping trip of the season in.
A little catch up on us. Lately Brady has been practicing on his turn tables a lot and working at the wing coop. He had his first live show (well with his turn tables) on ST. Pattricks day and I was a very proud girlfriend! :) They have not played in a few months just been practicing & trying to get the CD ready to go. I really can't wait to see where the band goes in the next year. I have a feeling it is going to be a very bumpy & exciting time. As for me I have been working. I now work at Black Bear Diner in Sandy, and I love it. A lot less stressful and way closer to home. We try to make it home at least once a month if not more. And last but not least we spend plenty of time with our little Bella Boo.
